Offered me a courtesy car at the time of booking a date for my VW transporter to have a timing belt and MOT done. I didn't need a courtesy car and even on the drop-off day they offered again if I needed a courtesy car or a lift back home which is good as things can change. They kept me up to date on the repairs that needed doing. I also had a set of alloy wheels which I wanted fitting onto my van and asked if they could swap them for my steel wheels.
